Aaaahhhhhh, Cynthia McKinney, the only person that can stand between me and a straight-ticket Democratic ballot, is at it again. Wednesday, as Rep. McKinney was enterring the Capitol, she was not immediately recognized by Capitol Police. An officer asked her to stop and went after her. Most people would have simply stopped and showed credentials to the officer, who was, after all, simply trying to do his job.
But not our Cynthia. She turns around and plants one on the guy (a punch, not a kiss). Now she's probably going to be arrested.
Official sources are not commenting, but word on the street is that both Texas Tech and IU have now short-listed her as a potential mens' basketball coach.
Edit: Do people even think about what they're saying anymore? From the story:
Steven McGhee of Atlanta said McKinney "damaged herself" in the incident, but he's not counting her out. "She lost her composure," he said. "But she will probably bounce back. I would vote for her, because she is a fighter."
